Visit the Czech Nature and Culture

Not only the Czech capital Prague is a beautiful place for sightseeing. Also the surrounding wooded countryside is a nice area to visit. Hills and valleys alternate with each other in a short distance along the river Vltava, with in between medieval cities as Pribram, Votice and Tabor. They surprise because of their parcs, characteristic pastel painted buildings, churches, and their central squares with typical galleries.

For exploring this unique region, the travel agency Bohemian Events offers the following range of opportunities:

  1. Active holidays: walking and cycling tours (28/7-12/8/2012)
  2. Excursions to make observations in the landscape and see how the soil, wildlife and human activities interfere with each other (2/7-15/7/2012)
  3. Visiting Unesco city jewels: walking through monumental places with a beautiful, baroque architecture (26/12/2011-1/1/2012)

In addition of these opportunities lodging and transportation can be organised, so that a visit to central Bohemia can be arranged tailor made after your wishes as for individuals as well as for groups.

Organizers

The travel agency "Bohemia's Best" is a business unit under the Czech mother company Agropro in Prague. Agropro is established for the development of the Czech rural area. Bohemia's Best is a recent initiative of Zdenek Linhart in Prague and Leen Verschoor in Rotterdam. Both are enthusiastic walkers and cyclists with great interest in the European culture. They started in the eighties of the last century with exchanges between Czech and Dutch agricultural students and farmers. This to take a closer look on each other's agriculture, countryside and culture in a plan economy and a free market respectively. Nowadays there is a big difference with this past. The Czech Republic and the Netherlands are both member of a still expanding, but less integrating European Union. What is known about the Czech Republic in the heart of Europe, about the surprising mixture of nature reserves and economic, industrial growth. When you would like to see and hear more about this all, you will find a good reason to join the tours of Bohemia's Best.
